OTITO is more than 60 years old.

 

DULCES OTITO SAIC began in 1954 in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy. At the beginning the company centered its objective in the handmade elaboration of a wide variety of sweets, jellies, marmalades and syrups.  In the year 1963 the building facilities expanded and new equipment was acquired to face the company's growth.

 

In 1971, due to the availability of raw material and greater market demand, a business analysis determines the viability of industrializing vegetables. Due to these new conditions, it was decided to start producing tomato preserves (Crushed and Extract tomato). These favorable situation, allowed us to move the manufacturing plant to the city of San Pedro in search of greater physical space

 

From 1999 to 2002, investments were made in machines and facilities at the San Pedro de Jujuy plant. In 2005, the TETRA PAK bottling line was purchased for tomato puree in Tetra Brik. In 2008, warehouses were built for the storage of tomato puree. In 2014, another warehouse was finished to store tomato extract in drums, and the aseptic packaging line was installed.

 

DULCES OTITO SAIC permanently works on continuous improvement. It constantly controls production processes to allow an excellent final product, ensuring that the food has been processed, prepared, packaged and maintained in optimal conditions, safe for  human consumption.
